Perhaps Taiwan isn't the most well known for its street signage, but it's definitely quite a signature of its cultural vibrance(is there such a word?). Most of us have seen photos of Hong Kong streets with signs stretching across the street trying to out stand each other. Well, Taiwan's signs aren't as extreme, but I have to say, Taiwan's street lights are pretty useless, and its these street signs that lights up the city.
In the US, the few places where signs like this form the cityscape are NYC and Vegas. Here in Taiwan, it's a part of the local architecture, something plays such a major role but taken granted for.
The Cow is critical of the grass, or it should be. It doesn't matter where it grazes, there's always different tastes to comment on. So join the cow and cowaround the world!
