Bai He town

Bai He(White River) is a town 30 minutes drive from my grandparent's place. It's well known for its water lily which has brought much tourism to the town.

The gigantic leaves of the water lily plants form a basin shape, and can carry an adult afloat!

Another useful part of the water lily plants is the lotus seed pots. This is what I made the lotus soup with.

Some how they reminds me of the loud speakers in Teletubbyland.
