What can you do with money? Lot's of money!
Some hide it. Some display it. Some give it. Some keep it. Here's two who spent it in a way that most would consider nuts!
William Randolph Hearst, a media tycoon in the early 1900s, who also owned the famous Hearst Castle in California, bought and shipped this ancient Spanish Monastery from Spain. Prior to this, the structure has housed monks for more than 700 years old (From 1133). It was dismantled, boxed and shipped to NY, but sat in the storage for quite a while as plan fall through. Then came a second rich dude who bought it and moved it down to Miami. It was initially meant as a tourist attraction, which still is, but has a church service. When I was there, they had yoga classes in one of the rooms. It's a very casual management, very photographer friendly. They rent the place out for weddings and events. Sitting on a quiet street just a mile or two from the popular Aventura Mall, this is truly a best secret around.
Still high on the digital kick, I went HDR crazy. I mean, look at the interior design of this architecture, how can you not do HDRs?! It will be a sin not to!
So the rest are just photos. Enjoy!
Well, as usual, here's the PHOTO GALLERY if you want to see the rest of the photos!
The Cow is critical of the grass, or it should be. It doesn't matter where it grazes, there's always different tastes to comment on. So join the cow and cowaround the world!
